Our Established Carbide Grades for Wide Range Applications For Wide Range Drilling and Milling
Carbide cutting material for finishing and roughing work when turning, milling and boring with good edge strength and high toughness of the cutting material under very difficult machining conditions with interrupted cuts and shock loads.
Areas of application:
- Titanium alloys
- Heat-resistant alloys
- Austenitic stainless steels
- Grey cast iron
- Fibreglass reinforced plastics
The high hardness coupled with high toughness and bending strength is achieved through the presence of ultra fine grain tungsten carbide of 0.6 mm and a relatively high cobalt content (10 % cobalt).
