Investment into the future of cemented carbide
Steadily increasing demands on product quality and also the expansion of our product line on ground cemented carbide rods, expected by our customers, are answered by an appropriate investment in our production. We run our own centerless grinding shop to meet the continuing request on individually ground rods for our customers. For quality inspection of rods with cooling ducts, especially of so called microtwisted rods with very small duct geometries, a highly precision computer based optical measurement system will be applied in the future.
Beyond that we consider to the circumstance that the ever more preciously becoming WC raw material requires a constantly rising efficiency of our tungsten carbide production. Therefore since one year our tungsten carbide rods are examined and sorted regarding bending with a fully automatic machine.
