The new high tech grade K88UF closes the gap between our premium grades K55SF and K44UF.
K88UF displays a hardness HV 30 of around 1800 at an adequate toughness, using 0.5 μm sub-micron size WC-powder in combination with a Cobalt content of 10 wt %.
Thus K88UF is specially designed for high speed milling applications in hard and difficult materials.
